Today's [First] Absurdity

Hillary Blasts Trump, Moore for Not Accepting Responsibility on Sexual Misconduct Allegations
Doncha see, Franken is a "real man" for admitting his guilt. Well, he sorta had no choice, given the blatant photographic evidence. But when he realized he was BUSTED, he immediately manned up and demanded for an Ethics Probe into himself, thereby delaying his stuff being put out on the lawn.

Meanwhile, Hillary in no sense accepts the voluminous accusations of rape/harassment against her own house.

Meanwhile, the usual suspects (Republican AND Democrats, as if there was any substantive difference) in the pristine halls of Congress who usually rush to the cameras to defend their own and excoriate those who don't "deserve" to be there are strangely missing in action. Where are the Gang of Four: McCain? Graham? Schumer? Pelosi?

Has "DISAVOW!" finally run its course?

Like all witch hunts, this one will end - eventually, and the Reign of Terror will "guillotine" its own into oblivion (HOPEFULLY!). However, it IS fantastic shadenfreude watching the Leftists consume their own dung in public.

"“Look, Al Franken is a friend of mine, and I deeply regret what he did. There is no excuse for his behavior, none at all. But he has called for an investigation. He has apologized to the woman involved. Apparently, she has accepted the apology. I think we have got to recognize he agreed to an ethics investigation. It will go to the ethics committee. It will investigate whatever the situation was, and they’ll decide what if any action should be taken based on that behavior. I think that is the appropriate process. I think something like that coming into the public arena, and Al’s very quick acceptance of responsibility and apology and his willingness to be investigated and to take the consequences is the kind of accountability I’m talking about. I don’t hear that from Roy Moore or Donald Trump.”

She added, “Look at the contrast between Al Franken, accepting responsibility, apologizing, and Roy Moore and Donald Trump, who have done neither.”

Hillary unsurprisingly commits the child's fallacy in order to pretend that Franken is More Moral than Trump or Moore. She condemns Trump and Moore as guilty, without any empirical, valid proof.

Apples to oranges Fallay; aka Black and White Fallacy:

Apple: Franken on film, in color, molesting. No choice except to accept it. Franken never brought it up before the photo release. His morality is not determined by his contrition at being caught.

Orange: Trump and Moore: charges, some of which are disproven, most of which are he said, she said. Mostly from iffy sources. At any rate: entirely unprovable. In other words, guilt or innocence CANNOT BE KNOWN empirically, which is the sole measure of validity. Might want to follow the money, to see if there are any payoffs. In the meantime, the civilized world still claims innocent until proven guilty. Unlike Hilllary's declaration of guilt based purely on Leftist ideology. Unlike the Left's "we must always believe the women accusers, because women cannot lie." Riiiiiight.
